About International Choral Festival Orientale Concentus

International Choral Festival Orientale Concentus, conceptualised in 2008 with the purpose of promoting international arts and cultural exchange and youth choral music development, has seen a successful run across China, Taiwan and South Korea.

Participants in earlier editions not only hail from host countries, but also from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and even the United Kingdom. The upcoming thirteenth edition of the festival is scheduled to take place once again in Singapore from the 25 July to 28 July 2020 (4 days) at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall and Esplanade Concert Hall.

In addition to the choral competition and master classes conducted by renowned adjudicators, the festival programme will incorporate community programmes aimed at raising social awareness, developing character and civic-mindedness in the youth participants. These community programmes comprise educational workshops that inculcate empathy, team work, confidence and self-awareness for our participants.

*Closing date for applications: 15 May 2020*
