Fifteen choirs reach final round of 2026 Hong Kong World Choir Festival

Fifteen choirs from China, Estonia and South Africa have been selected to perform in the final round of the 2026 World Choir Festival in Hong Kong.

The finalists will perform during the festival’s closing ceremony at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 15 July, following the conclusion of the earlier competition rounds.

The choirs progressing to the final are: - Yuen Long Children’s Choir – Junior Choir, Hong Kong - Shenzhen Longgang Over The Rainbow Children’s Choir, Guangdong - Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section) – Senior Choir, Hong Kong - HKUGA College Treble Choir, Hong Kong - Good Hope School Choir, Hong Kong - HYS & WYK Mixed Choir, Hong Kong - Harbin Institute of Technology MUSICA Chamber Choir, Heilongjiang - Guangzhou Flower City Youth Choir, Guangdong - Ying Wa College Choir, Hong Kong - Hangzhou Xunxin Choir, Zhejiang - Yunnan University of Business Management Choir, Yunnan - Girls Choir of Musamari Choral School, Estonia - Kearsney College Choir, South Africa - CAC LAN Children’s Choir, Zhejiang - Shunde Beijiao Children’s Choir, Guangdong

Organised by the World Youth and Children Choral Artists’ Association, the 2026 World Choir Festival has brought together children’s, youth, school, university and community choirs for competitions, concerts, workshops and international exchange in Hong Kong.
