Music China

Music China is Asia’s largest musical instruments trade fair and one of the principal international meeting places for the global music-products industry.

Held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the four-day event brings together leading manufacturers, distributors, retailers, agents, educators, publishers, music schools, conservatoires and musicians from China and across the international market.

The exhibition covers acoustic, electronic and traditional Chinese instruments alongside accessories, recording and studio equipment, music technology, software, sheet music, education and related services. An extensive accompanying programme includes product launches, workshops, industry forums, masterclasses, competitions and live performances.

Music China 2026 will place particular emphasis on innovation across the music ecosystem, exploring connections between music, technology, wellbeing and cultural tourism. The event is organised by Messe Frankfurt, the China Musical Instrument Association and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co Ltd. Music8 is a media partner of Music China.
