Oxford Choral highlights new Christmas releases for 2026
Oxford University Press has announced a selection of new Christmas choral releases for 2026, featuring works by leading composers including Bob Chilcott, John Rutter, Sarah Quartel, Cecilia McDowall, Michael Higgins and Kristina Arakelyan.
The new repertoire is intended to support choirs planning festive programmes, with Oxford University Press inviting conductors and singers to explore music for the Christmas season across a wide range of choral styles.
Featured publications include Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Carols, Mack Wilberg’s Welcome, Coming Christmas, Sarah Quartel’s The Bells of Christmas and The Night Before Christmas by Olivia Sparkhall.
Other composers highlighted in the collection include Oliver Tarney, Mack Wilberg, Jonathan Manners, Maggie Burk, Reginal Wright, Remel Derrick, Frank Havrøy, Jessica French and Annabel Rooney.
