The agreement follows several years of collaboration between Wong and OUP on individual works, and will see the publisher continue to develop and promote her choral music internationally.

Wong’s music is known for its blend of cultures, languages and lived experiences, with a strong focus on supporting singers’ artistic and technical development. Her choral works include Fly!, Take This Gift and Above, Beyond, Sing On!, which have been performed by choirs around the world.

‘I am thrilled to be moving to a long-term publishing relationship with OUP,’ said Wong. ‘Following a wonderful few years of collaboration on individual pieces, I am deeply excited to bring more depth to our partnership and officially journey down this path together.

‘I look forward to everything the future holds as a proud member of the OUP family, and I cannot wait to share our upcoming choral releases with choirs around the world.’

Robin Barry, Director of Music Publishing at OUP, said Wong brought ‘an exceptional breadth of musical imagination, pedagogical insight, and cultural perspective’ to her work.

He added, ‘This is reflected in music that develops singers’ musicianship, artistry, and technique. We are delighted to welcome her to OUP and look forward to continuing our collaboration, championing her distinctive voice across the global choral community.’
